6 Month Checkup

Porter had his 6 month checkup yesterday with the pediatrician. He is a healthy little boy! Here were his stats:
Weight: 95th percentile
Height: 75th-90th Percentile
The nurse asked if Porter was always "this happy". She had a reality check when she gave him shots!

Jump On It!

For the Memorial Day holiday we met up with the cousins at Jump On It. Jump On It is a big warehouse that is full of trampolines, even on the walls. It is madness. They have great signs too like "Don't be stupid!" What?

Kick, push...

"First got it when he was six (months), didn't know any tricks, matter of fact first time he got on he kick flipped!"
Porter tried out Kyle's skateboard last night. He's pretty good.

Kicks!

Porter got some new shoesies! His first pair with laces, and thus far they have been a great source of entertainment! He can pull on the laces, eat the shoes, and has great grip when trying to get his feet. All in all, I'd say he likes shoes.

California Baja Cruise

Porter and I just returned from a fun Royal Carribean Cruise to Mexico! We went with my family and met up with relatives from my mom's side of the family. 3 of the 4 sisters were there, with their kids and grandkids. We had a great time, and are grateful that we could participate in the fun! Here are some highlights of the trip.

Top to bottom, left to right- Art, Uncle Scott, Tyler, Jeff, Dad, Chrysta, Aunt Tina, Leslie, Mom, Aunt Cindy, Kimberly, Brianna, Deyla, Stacy, Porter, Kristy, Jordan, Blake, and Brandon.

Our cruise was complete with two pools, hot tubs, a basketball court, rock climbing wall, movie theatre, theatrical theatre, 500 restaurants (just kidding, it just seems that way) and every other thing you can imagine.

Baby Playgroup

They had a Fisher Price play group for 6-18 month babies, and Porter went and enjoyed the company of other little people. He loves kids but he was most interested in new toys! It was cute.

Grandma pushed Porter around in his stroller and entertained him while Mom and I shopped til we dropped. Porter actually fell asleep sitting in his stroller. Funny!

Playing Cards with the Family

Playing cards is just part of our cruising traditions! After a fun day in Mexico we settled into a fun game of Phase 10. Porter helped Uncle Jeff for a while, and then opted to play with his toys.
