Traci and her kids were out in Utah last month, and we all had fun hanging out with them. We went river rafting almost every weekend!

Gabe is such a fun kid, he will talk you ear off if you let him.

Last weekend we went to the Heber City Rodeo with the Robbins family. As wild and crazy, and as hickish as those things are, they sure are entertaining!

Steve and Mickey at the Heber City, UT Rodeo

Lisa's sister Carolyn, from TX, is living with her and Richard right now. She came along to the Rodeo too.

Other than maybe the bull riding, this was one of the most entertaining events! A cowboy would have to come charging into the arena holding a rope that was attached to something called a "hide" that looked like a small piece of carpet or something. They would run to the other side of the arena and their partner would have to grab on to the hide and hold on to it while he dragged them at top speeds out of the arena. It looked pretty painful. The spokesman would yell at the partners in his hickish voice, "Com'on son, gyt on that hide! Ther' we go now!"

They even had little kids Savannah and Andrew's age doing this!

I told Andrew to pose in his cowboy hat, and this is what I got! What a cute cowboy!

This picture makes me laugh! The kids got to participate in a race at the rodeo, and won these cute cowboy/girl hats. I wanted to get a picture of them, so I had them crouch into the racing position. I told them I would take a picture on the count of 3. On the count of 3, they started racing again. I was nearly ran over!

The adults took Traci to dinner at Mimi's Cafe to say goodbye and to celebrate her graduation.

Tuesday, August 8th, 2006...Maylee Robbins was born (Richard and Lisa's 1st). She was 7lbs, 4oz. and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are home, healthy and doing well!

Robby and Jennie invited us to go to Lagoon with them this week! It was part of Robby's work party, and we had so much fun!

Savannah and Autumn love their Uncle Jared. Jennie's mom Debbie was teasing Jared because after we arrived at Lagoon, the kids stopped waving from the rides and saying "Hi Grandma," and started waving and yelling "Hi Jared," and giving him the thumbs up sign.

Stacy and Jared. We just finished a yummy BBQ hosted by Larry H. Miller.

Andrew getting ready to go on a scary ride.

Luke did so good at Lagoon! He was able to go on lots of rides and hated when they were over. He made sure to wave at us on the "big kid" rides too.

Jennie-O's mom, "Grandma Debbie" worked hard to win the kids stuffed animals! They loved them.
